A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts is the largest art museum of the country, the collection of which is already about 25 thousand items of art and introduces the guests to the decorative and fine arts of Kazakhstan, modern foreign art, classical Russian art and the art of Western Europe of 16-19 centuries.
The museum's collection includes outstanding Kazakh artists such as Abylkhan Kasteev, Kanafia Telzhanov, Moldahmet Kenbaev, Sabur Mambeev, Gulfairus Ismailova, Aisha Galimbayeva, Olga Kuzhelenko, Nikolay Khludov, Alexander Rittikh, and many others.
The museum regularly holds temporary exhibitions of contemporary national and foreign artists, lectures on art, master classes, excursions, Night at the museum and Let's have a vacation together campaigns, musical vernissages, and other events.
