The symphony tale by Sergei Prokofiev
PETER AND THE WOLF
(in the Russian language)
The symphony tale Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev is an exciting and educational journey into the world of music for pre-school children and primary school pupils attending grades 1 to 5. During the concert, the children will be involved into a funny game and get acquainted with the symphony orchestra instruments.
This symphony tale also implies a musical tale: every character has its own theme performed by a particular instrument. Prokofiev’s symphony tale Peter and the Wolf is a peculiar symphony orchestra ‘guide’.
