The concert “From Baroque to the Present Day” will be presented by renowned Kazakhstani performers – Anel Shakirova, Aiya Gabbasova (violin), Akhmet Sultanov (viola) and Kurvanzhan Akhatov (cello), who actively promote chamber music in their work.
The musicians have included in the programme compositions by Baroque-era composer Henry Purcell, Czech Romantic Antonín Dvořák, American minimalist Philip Glass, and contemporary Kazakhstani composer Arman Zhaiym.
This diverse selection of music, spanning from the Baroque period to the present day, is sure to leave a vivid impression on the audience.
