The year 2025 promises to be filled with competitions, concerts, premieres, and anniversaries of renowned musicians. The Astana Opera House will open its series of anniversaries with a concert from the “Musical Alliance” series, dedicated to the 340th anniversary of the brilliant German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

The project’s author, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Bagdat Abilkhanov, together with his fellow musicians, will devote several concerts to performing Bach’s sonatas and partitas.

We invite all classical music lovers to celebrate the Old New Year together, accompanied by his genius works, which remain timeless and inspire reflection on eternity and enduring values in the 21st century.
